As frustrating as the news should be for Gibbs, he communicated only kind words and regard for Busch in a pre-arranged proclamation today.

Busch, a double cross NASCAR Cup Series champion, will join Richard Childress Dashing in 2023. He will drive the No. 8 vehicle for them.
